Allen Ray to detail air handling modifications that can create $100k+ annual energy savings and substantially reduce the carbon footprint of power plants.
January 21, 2010, Pelham, AL – Process Barron will continue the rollout of its 2010 Rapid ROI Initiative at EUEC 2010 by showcasing air handling and industrial fan modifications that can generate one year ROI’s and six-figure energy savings. Allen Ray, Director of Air & Gas Handling Group for Process Barron, will present tips for power plant builders, owners and operators that want to optimize power plants and boiler systems.
“When done right, energy cost savings and carbon output reductions are a natural outcome of industrial fan and draft system modifications,” said Ray. “That’s why we’re at EUEC, to show utility providers simple modifications that will keep them from blowing their money and causing excessive emissions out of their stacks.”
Ray’s session will highlight case studies of several projects that saw improved efficiency, reduced emission and dramatic annual energy and maintenance savings. Ray will discuss rules for good duct design; the importance of field testing; and the major impact that modern blade designs can have on boiler performance and plant efficiency.
“Optimize Your Boiler Draft Systems” will be presented by Allen Ray on Monday, February 1, at 3:30 in room 221B at the Phoenix Convention Center. Representatives from Process Barron will also be on hand at EUEC to share success stories of customers who have implemented draft system and industrial fan modifications and to advise attendees on other cost-effective strategies. Process Barron will be located at booth 611.
