2010 Rapid ROI Initiative Extended to Biomass Industry

Expanding on its 2010 Rapid ROI Initiative, ProcessBarron will join the biomass community to present equipment advances and modifications that, in many cases, can provide a one year or less ROI.  ProcessBarron will roll out its Rapid ROI Initiative for biomass fuel handling and air handling during the 3rd annual International BIOMASS Conference & Expo where the company will present tips for biofuels and biomass power producers on equipment options that can generate energy savings, improve plant efficiency, and reduce emissions.

As the burgeoning biomass movement moves to make a broader impact, ProcessBarron will use this 3rd annual conference to share knowledge gained from over 20 years in the biomass and pulp and paper industries. Tips on equipment selection and modifications will include advice on:

  • Plant conversions from coal to biomass
  • Benefit analysis of automating biomass material handling systems
  • The importance of draft system assessments
  • Dust collection and ash handling techniques that improve plant efficiency and reduce emissions without adding costly back-end equipment

“Our goal is to use our 20+ years of industry experience to share common sense solutions to biomass material handling, air handling & ash handling that can provide power producers with quick ROI’s and significantly improved plant efficiency,” said Cliff Moss, Vice President and Director of Material Handling Division for ProcessBarron.

Representatives from ProcessBarron will be on hand at the International BIOMASS Conference & Expo to share success stories of facilities that have integrated biomass material handling, industrial fan and dust collection modifications that have generated impressive plant efficiency improvements and dramatic cost savings. Process Barron will be located at booth 216.
