The ProcessBarron team had the privilege of attending the sixth Wood Bioenergy Conference & Expo March 10 through 11! The event was held in the Grand Ballroom at the CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
About the Wood Bioenergy Conference
Each year, this event is immediately followed by the Panel & Engineered Lumber International Conference & Expo (PELICE) March 12 through 13, in the same venue. Both events are supported by Wood Bioenergy and Panel World Magazines, and Georgia Research Institute.
The 2020 conference attracted professionals from the industrial wood pellet, biomass power, biofuels, and in-woods chipping sectors, and was supported by over 50 equipment and technology exhibitors. With more than 30 speakers—including leadership from the major producer companies—we heard talks about everything from market forecasts to international supply chain and new production technologies.
Industry experts predict that 2020 will see a continuation of the worldwide emphasis on renewable energy production—primarily wood-based energy—as more and more countries commit to cleaner air and a healthier environment. The Wood Bioenergy Conference & Expo combines all phases of the wood production process as well, starting with wood harvesting and ending with electricity generation.
The ProcessBarron team had a great time networking with other industry leaders, learning from experts, and seeing some of you there!
