ProcessBarron is active in supporting a variety of community initiatives through local non-profits, career training, educational partnerships, and support for our local business community.
ProcessBarron appreciates opportunities to be a resource for students. We partner with 58 Inc. and the Ready to Work Program to serve local high school students. We host students on facility tours and educate them on career opportunities in manufacturing. We open our doors for tours with other local tech schools and have enjoyed doing mock interviews at Shelby Tech.
We participate in Manufacturing Day, a national event led annually by the Manufacturing Institute. We partner with the Shelby County Economic Development Corporation, Central 6 Alabama Works!, and Jefferson State Community College to serve our local community through tours, events, and presentations on career opportunities in industrial manufacturing. Read more in the Shelby County Reporter.
We support the welding program at Jefferson State Community College and host interns from this program each year. We have several other relationships with local colleges and are grateful for our summer interns in engineering, sales, and accounting.
ProcessBarron proactively engages with career tech and vocational preparation programs to support manufacturing workforce development. Connect with us if you’re interested in an educational partnership.
