SafeTBrake eliminates these risks by providing reliable dynamic stopping and secure holding. Once engaged, the brake prevents any unintended fan rotation or reverse motion, ensuring that your team can perform maintenance with confidence and reducing the risk of damage to bearings, shafts, and couplings. Although SafeTBrake ensures safety, it is not intended to be used as a sole lock-out device.
SafeTBrake features advanced design and specifications, like a dual-disc system with high-energy brake discs and an air-applied caliper on each disc, delivering fast, reliable stopping. Fans operating at 900 RPM can come to a full stop in just 30 seconds using 50 PSI air pressure. The included control package integrates a manual On/Off push button and a safety switch, which engages the brake automatically whenever the motor is energized, ensuring safe and intuitive operation.
