Product Description
ProcessBarron offers a variety of steam turbine types, including single-stage turbines, multi-stage turbines, extraction-condensing, and extraction-backpressure turbines. Single-stage turbines, often Curtis stage designs, are ideal for backpressure applications driving feedwater pumps, condensate pumps, and fans with efficiencies of 50–70%. Multi-stage turbines, suitable for backpressure or condensing setups, achieve up to 80% efficiency, while larger industrial turbines can reach 85% efficiency. Our extraction turbines provide multiple outlet steam conditions, enabling processes like sawmill kilns or pulp and paper operations to receive steam at varying pressures while maintaining optimal boiler performance. Our steam turbine skid packages are fully engineered for industrial use, including the turbine, driven equipment (generators, pumps, or fans), control systems, lube oil systems, and Balance of Plant (BOP) scope. For backpressure turbines, integration typically includes bypass piping, civil design, electrical systems, and control implementation. In condensing applications, our BOP scope may also incorporate condensers, cooling towers, pumps, and associated piping. ProcessBarron’s turnkey solutions ensure seamless integration into your existing plant infrastructure.
